i think that the people who pierce and tattoo their bosies should do as they please...as i once told my mom " do priests decorate their church?, do do budhists decorate their temple? well this is my temple and this is how i choose to decorate it!" go on and be an individual...i do and i love it tats, piecings and all. im just not as extreme as the other on here are. The 1st pic is quite possibly the most disturbing piercing ever. It is not convenient I'm sure. You shouldn't try to prove yourself in some way if it troubles you own life, and no doubt the bars thru the nasal cavity interfere. Also eating must be a fun task for the fellow w/ the white disk...

body modification is a delicate art...these people are collectors...their body is the canvas.
i am proud of my tattoos, piercings...when i die i won't be another piece of meat on a table...my body will tell my story...it will let me and my story, live on after my death...piercings and tattoos have been around for quite some time but the modern world casts them out cuz they don't understand whats behind it. most people don't get infections (only the idiots and these are the SERIOUS body modification people) so yea...thats just a misconception. people's ignorance makes me laugh...that you think these people are less than you because they choose to modify themselves in ways that you choose not to...they are exactly the same if not BETTER because they are not blinded by your ignorance. we, of the body mod community are some of the most openminded people out here...and with our piercings and such you can see why we are. its not accepting yourself for who you are...it accepting yourself...loveing yourself so much that you want to appreciate your body...addourn it with jewelery, pictures...make it art. its the ultimate appreciation if done in a safe place, by experienced people...
just needed to get that out to all the people who left negative judgemental comments. if you look at a person and judge them by apperance...every person you see...judge their intelligence, health, motives...you are the one who needs help...not the one who looks "funny" to you.

I am A fan of piercings and tattoos. I love them, its your body, why not decorate it, i say. But there IS a limit !!! i mean its their bodies, allow them to do with it what they will, but for me, personaly .... no thanx. Sounds like something only ugly people say... what's normal is when people don't screw up their bodies for attention. Try playing a sport or doing something with your life...you'll get a lot more positive attention and a helluva lot more respect.
