Meet "The Littlest Angel", Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley

Images Courtesy: Garyparker.com

Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley, known around the world as "the littlest angel", was born Feb.13, 2003, weighing just 2 lbs, 8 ounces.

Doctors were at a loss as to why she was born so small and told her parents this little miracle baby likely wouldn't live through the night. But she did.

She continued to defy doctors expectations and at the age of 8 months, Kenadie was finally diagnosed with primordial dwarfism, a genetic condition that is believed to affect only about 100 people in the world. She isn't expected to grow past about 30 inches or weigh more than 8 pounds.

But from the day Kenadie was born her parents, Brianne Jourdin and Court Bromley, refused to give up. As they say, "We loved life right into her."

Indeed, they did.

Nearing the age of four, Kenadie now walks, runs, laughs, smiles and is beginning to talk. But, perhaps more importantly, it's the way Kenadie makes people feel that is her strongest achievement. Those who come into contact with her invariably believe that they have been touched by God, that somehow this little angel has touched their soul.

In my country, Venezuela, we have a saying that roughly translated goes like this: "The more valuable the thing is, the smaller the package is"

Our prayers and a BIG tight hug for Kenadie, her parents and her brother.

In my homeland of Canada, we would say that this little angel is one fucking ugly beast.

What a beautiful little girl! Big hug to her and her wonderful family!

As an American, I've always thought of Canadians as wonderful friends and neighbors to our north. I guess there can always be a mean one in every bunch.

Hi, I'm from Canada and we would never say a stupid and unreal thing like that. That anonymous jerk is just jealous that Kenadie is not from Canada or in his own family.
Long life to the little angel. Just looking at you, we feel touch by an angel. All my love to you r family.

Um...actually...Kenadie IS from Canada. And most of us think she's adorable. So fie on the mean-spirited guy!

Hello..I am from Canada and I know Kenadie personally. I have daily contact with her and her family. All I can say is what Kenadie would say...."Sorry you felt you needed to say that in writing. You do realize however, the way you think puts you in a small minority. Thank God for the rest of us, in the majority." I "Thank God" everyday for the joy I have witnessed Kenadie bringing to people.

Hello precious little Angel, you remind me of my 'tiny bundle of pure love'. Unfortunately, my little girl had to leave. Although, I am happy that you and your family are fortunate to be able to create happy memories together everyday.

PS - the ugly soul above does not deserve any more of our time or energy in responding to his heartless comment - he got his few minutes of attention. He is NOT worth mentioning again!

HUGE KISSES TO YOU, SWEET Kenadie - not forgetting your amazing family and friends.

To me , a Brazilian guy, kidney transplanted and a hard life past, she is beautiful, lovely and graceful.

But I'm very worried with her future!
I was thinking! She'll suffer so much, the world wasn't made to people like us that had some kind of difference!

God for her that she lives in a country where the law is truly the law, and doesn't a bunch of letters in tomes of unused books.

I saw her on tv and thought she was the cutest, most adorable child I had ever seen. God bless her and her parents! My favorite picture is of her on the escalator. She is looking back like, "What's it to you?" kind of look. She is definately in control of her surroundings!

there are few times in life when we here on earth are able to experience gods precious angels in the matter of a human being. Kenadie is a perfect specimen of love and beauty. Thank you Lord. May we all who are fortunate enough to know who she is be thankful of her presence in such a shallow world that does not deserve such innocense.

Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley, you are a beautiful living doll. I see you are approaching your 5th birthday, may it be as wonderful as you. The "Littlest Angel" has a strong meaning for me, and you fit the title perfectly. Kenadie's parents, you must feel the love from the millions of people who have been touched by this adorable human. Best wishes to your family.

The pictures are beautiful. none portray any sadness whatsoever. Happiness and love should be all that surrounds her and it very well looks like it. She is the luckies girl in the world because she has her family and friends to love and support her. God bless you Kenadie and all your family.

I saw Kenadie's story on TLC and was overjoyed to see that she had been sent by God to such a loving family. What a joy my children are to me as I know your precious Kenadie and Tyran are to you. I know you get this alot, but she makes you just want to pick her up and hug and kiss her. What a joy!!! God Bless both of you. The love you two have for each other and your 2 angels, shows all over. Love to you all 4 from Jacksonville, FL Jer

Kenadie is NOT that little anymore. She has grown and looks very sturdy. Please consider helping other primordial dwarf children who need the help more. Here is a url for Tyler White: http://ourlittlemiracle.info/

I just wish people wouldn't think that Kenadie is the only primordial dwarf child on earth. There are others who are smaller, are not gaining well, and who have heart ailments, like Tyler. Kenadie's mother refuses to provide the public with recent photos. I suspect it is because she wants people to continue to think that Kenadie is still as small as she was when she was two. She's five now, and has grown much heavier.

OMG! Your here too. People were just making comments on her story. This is about Kenadie.
Does Tyler have a comment page. Can You talk about Kenadie on his site?
O.K. I get that you think her mother is a money grubbing bitch. You have your own opinions. That's fine. This page says Kenadie. No one thinks Kenadie is the only one. This page just talks about her.
I'm glad she has grown. She is still a little girl with a illness. I said a lot of this before. But, man she is still sick. She didn't wake up one morning the same size as everyone else her age. She still has problems that set her back.
So what if her Mom got her lips injected. Let us know when she gets that Astin Martin.
You support Tyler and we can support Kenadie.
Still a fan in L.A.

Brianne Jourdin at a pro ball game where the red carpet was rolled out for Kenadie and Brianne. They caused quite a controversy, even breaking rules, but in the end Brianne got her way. http://img231.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1179754621ltn5.jpg

It seems that the hobbit has grown a lot. But you, like the hobbit's mother, hobbitually only show photos that are years old.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous...why don't you get a life and stop picking on Kenadie...she doesn't get a normal life like we do and you are pin-pointing her, it's not her fault what her mother does, she is still a little girl in need just like all of the rest!

Anonymous said...

All those pictures are old. Her facebook profile has tons of pictures of her and another guy. Those family pictures are misleading.

Anonymous said...

She is a gift from God and is a wonderful child, her parents a very special and blessed to have her, she show us that there is still good in this world, and God does answer prayers. Kenadie is angel, she is a light that shines so bright.

This semester in school, we learned a lot about primordial dwarfs like Kenadie. It can be very sad when you know about all the challenges she'll face in her life. Kenadie is five years old and mentally retarded. A piece of her brain is actually missing (corpus callosum), and she is at the level of a two year old baby. We learned the following about what dwarfs may suffer from: Mental Retardation, abnormal head and facial features, delayed toilet training,
social immaturity, inability to take the perspective of others, difficulty understanding others' emotions, difficulty understanding abstract language/concepts, difficulties with complex tasks, abstract reasoning problem, misinterpretation of the nonverbal communication of others (i.e. their facial expressions or tone of voice), difficulty understanding slang, sarcasm, and jokes, lack of self awareness.

Kenadie is five years old and still NOT toilet trained! Can you imagine needing to clean up your child's shit and piss for 5 years with No End In Sight! I can't imagine anything so Disgusting!

I saw Kenadie's documentary. Her MRI showed that she is brain damaged. So WHY in God's name are her parents letting her kiss an adult man on the lips!?!?
That is just PERVERTED! I would NEVER let any child, brain damaged or not, kiss a grown man on the lips.
